Dana Brunetti Okay, I actually have two. The donations seem a little low, so I’m trying to bring a little bit more content for the value.
The first one is this: when you have to answer security questions for bank stuff…
Adam …your mother’s maiden name, the street you lived on, your pet’s name, yup.
Dana Brunetti …the tip is to lie. Don’t ever tell the truth on a security question.
Adam Yeah, but then you’ll forget the answer when you need it.
Dana Brunetti You need to remember the lie — that’s, I guess, part of the problem with the lie.
Adam Why is this a tip? Why is it a tip?
Dana Brunetti Because if you do use your mother’s maiden name, your pet, or the street you grew up on, here’s a perfect example: do you know how you come up with a porn name?
Adam Yeah, I forgot how to do this.
Dana Brunetti There are different variations — your soap opera name and your porn name — and they all use the three things you just said.
Adam Oh, that’s right. So mine would be my middle name and the street I grew up on. Clark Mitcher. No, that doesn’t sound right.
Great porn name, wow, I can’t wait to watch that one. It’s a stunner, Clark Mitcher is starring in it.
Dana Brunetti I don’t know if that’s necessarily straight porn, so hey, don’t judge.
Adam All right, your second tip.
Dana Brunetti On an iPhone, or on an Android - you have to check this on Android, when you’re trying to move the cursor, that little blinking line, to get back in between a word to type something or put in a space: hold down the space bar. It turns into a trackpad, and you can move it to wherever you want it.
Adam What? Hold on, let me see if this works.
Dana Brunetti I think on Android you have to hold the space bar and move left or right.
Adam Let me see, this is interesting. So I hit that and I hold down the spacebar… No, I get “change keyboard” if I do that.
Dana Brunetti I think you have to have the G-keyboard for that. But on an iPhone, you hold it down and it turns into a trackpad, and you move your thumb around.
Adam I’m not going to use Gboard, because then everything I type goes to Google.
Dana Brunetti Whatever. If you carry a cell phone, they’ve got everything on you anyway.
