Electric Power Washer

John All right, I’m kind of family forced to promote this product. My wife is, I think a lot of women are, obsessed with pressure washers.
Adam They are handy things to have.
John Yeah. And she said four of these types, which are, I mean, she has the gas ones, which are the ones that can clean the driveways to get the moss off. Yeah. you know, after winter. These aren’t as necessary in California as there are places like Washington. But there is an electric pressure washer she thinks is the best thing she’s ever run into. It doesn’t have the high pressure of a gasoline one, but it’s perfect for, like, wood decks and furniture, patio furniture and things outside where you don’t want to blow the paint off stuff or rip up the deck, which you will do with it.
Adam These things are pretty expensive, typically, aren’t they?
John $179. Hmm, okay. That’s not expensive.
Adam And it’s high pressure, but not too high pressure.
John The electric ones are not as high pressure as the gasoline ones. But the convenience of the electric, you just hook a hose up to it, you flip a switch, it’s going, you flip a switch, you go take a break, you flip a switch, you have to start it and start it and pull and get the thing going, and then you got to turn it off. It’s a pain in the ass.
Adam Yeah, it’s horrible.
John You have to be serious when you’re using a gas one. With the electric one, it’s like a flipper switch to do it. This is the Westinghouse WPX2300E for electric. And it should be mentioned that most of these things fall apart. They’re poorly made. She believes this to be one that will hold up for season after season for years and years, as opposed to breaking the second year you have it.
Adam Can you use it on the protesters, like the videos where they get hit with the water?
John You could use it on your car. The protesters would be good, but the fire hose is better. If you have a fire hose, that’s what you want.
Adam All right. Well, but will it clean, like, tire stuff off of cement?
John Oh, yeah. No, it’s good for all that stuff. It has a little container. You put soap in it, actually.
Adam I think I’m in the market for one of these.
John I think you could get one of these. It’s good for cleaning the car. It’s not going to rip off the paint. It’s easy to use. It’s small. It’s not a big monstrous thing like a regular pressure washer. They’re huge. They’re crazy.
Adam It’s a genius device. It sounds like a winner, John.
John It is. It’s a winner.
