BizToc

John: I’m at the point in the rotation where I have to find a good website that people should put on their list of things to visit constantly.
This is for the CEO’s, wannabe-CEO’s, people interested in business and finance, investors, that type of person.
I think it’s AI that does this, there’s no other way. This is a massive scraping operation that is pretty phenomenal to be hostest about it. It’s got some good code when you hover over things all kinds of actions take place. It’s a site called BizToc.com.
Adam: Wow! There’s a lot here.
John: Scroll down.
Adam: This is like a show prep page. There’s a lot going on here. This is a scraping operation.
John: And it’s a hell of a scraping operation, believe me. I think it’s borderline illegal.
Adam: Well, they have a legal statement here. They’re registered as a trademark of Tomatic Inc.
John: Maybe it’s overseas, I’m not sure what they’re doing, but this is pretty phenomenal. It’s a great website, it’s good for your morning briefing when you’re going into the office, you’ll catch up with everything with this website.
Ada: Did you look at the about page?
John: Actually, I did not look at the about page.
Adam: “I’m Thomas Marban, and I created BizToc — official successor of the infamous Web 2.0 phenomenon PopUrls. After building award-winning news aggregators for two decades, BizToc is the ultimate attempt in delivering the entire business world on a single page.”
And check this:
“BizToc is proudly crafted in Austria, and backed by American entrepreneur Mark Cuban”
How ’bout that? Then you know it’s legit.
John: So if you’re going to sue anybody: Mark Cuban has deep pockets.
