John: Today’s show is about free photo editing software.
Adam: GIMP! It’s the GIMP!
John: To compete with GIMP, because GIMP is actually quite hard to use. It’s very powerful but difficult to get the hang of. So, I’ve been having fun with another one. Turns out, there are a tons of them out there—maybe not tons, but at least a dozen really usable, free products.
Adam: Are you checking out Alternative.net?
John: No, I dug this one up through some deeper research. It’s called PhotoDemon. I’d recommend people try it out. But make sure to download it from the official site—photodemon.org. I actually went to GitHub to verify their real source, and that’s where they direct you.
Adam: Good idea. You can’t trust those random download sites anymore.
John: Exactly. Too much spyware bundled with downloads. But photodemon.org is legit. I think they’re on version 12 now. If you like messing around with photo editing, it’s worth checking out.
Adam: That’s a solid tip. I might give it a shot myself.
