Movie tip: “The President’s Analyst”

Yeah, I recommend listeners watch the movie The President’s Analyst. It was thought to be satire 45 years ago, but it turned out to be mostly true.

I vaguely remember it. I think it starred the guy who played Our Man Flint. Let’s take a look… The President’s Analyst from 1967, a satirical comedy written by Theodore J. Flicker, starring James Coburn.

Yeah, that’s right, James Coburn! The film mixes political satire and science fiction, resembling the spy spoofs of the mid-60s inspired by the James Bond phenomenon, like Our Man Flint. The film touches on modern ethics and privacy concerns, especially regarding the telecom system’s intrusion into citizens’ private lives while working with the U.S. government.

This is definitely on my watch list! It’s a funny movie, although Coburn’s character can get on your nerves because he plays it so well. The acting reflects the style of that era, and the sets are bright and very 60s.

Alright, that’s our tip of the day—check it out!
