Kirkland Vodka

Kirkland Vodka

Kirkland vodka is something people should know about. The cheap Kirkland vodka in the 1.75-liter bottle, which goes for around $25, is often underrated. It comes in a large, attractive bottle, and it states clearly that it’s “Made in France.” What most people don’t realize is that this is actually Grey Goose.

Adam Curry: “So, it’s 1.75 liters of Grey Goose for $25?”

John C. Dvorak: “Yeah, depending on your local Costco prices. But how did you find out it’s Grey Goose? From some industry insider?”

Adam Curry: “So, they’re just white labeling Grey Goose now.”

John C. Dvorak: “Not only that, but if you compare it to the Grey Goose bottle, this Kirkland one is one of the most spectacular bottles Costco carries. It’s part of their Kirkland lineup, and the bottle is huge and beautiful, like a crystal bottle. While it’s not really useful for anything else, it sure makes an impression.”

Adam Curry: “What’s it called again?”

John C. Dvorak: “Kirkland vodka. There are two versions: the cheap American Kirkland vodka, which is pretty basic, and then there’s the imported one. The imported version, labeled ‘Made in France,’ is the one to look for. It comes in a beautiful bottle and is a terrific product.”
