John C. Dvorak: As we mentioned earlier in the show, if you’re flying overseas, especially on the outbound flight, it’s important to be cautious about what you eat. It’s not as critical on the return trip since you’ll be home. Avoid shrimp on the flight out and also avoid fruit.
Adam Curry: If I remember correctly, your original warning was even more severe: don’t eat seafood the night before you leave.
John C. Dvorak: That’s right—don’t eat seafood the night before your flight, don’t eat shrimp on the plane, and don’t eat fruit on the plane. In other words, don’t have an oyster dinner the night before your flight.
Adam Curry: And just another tip: avoid chicken on the plane too.
